Welcome to Good Shepherd Christian Academy, where our mission is to prepare the Little Flock of Christ to be in the world (by developing their academic, social and physical skills), but not of the world (by educating them in a Christian atmosphere and helping them to mature morally and spiritually).
Good Shepherd is a Christ-centered learning environment which strives to help children develop their God-given skills and use them to the fullest of their potential. Our program is geared towards energetic and enthusiastic children who thrive in a nurturing environment with low student-to-teacher ratio.
Little Flock Christian School (our original name) first opened its doors back in September 2003. Back then, we really were a little flock as we began with just 2 classes and 24 students. But God has been blessing the school ever since. Despite the growth in number, we haven’t lost sight of our original goal – to strive for both academic and spiritual excellence in the life of each individual child.
Nor have we compromised our family atmosphere either. We seek to maintain the small family feeling by emphasizing small class sizes and giving attention to parent/teacher communication. We know that raising children is not a one man job – it takes cooperation between school and home to develop the total child.
We are very excited about all that God is doing at Good Shepherd these days. And if you take the time to come visit, I’m sure that you will be as well.
