Dear Prospective Families,
Thank you for taking time to visit our school webpage. At Little Flock Preschool, we strive on a daily basis to provide a Christ-centered, academic school year for our three and four year children. Our teacher’s are passionate about sharing the gospel with our young children and providing a structured loving learning environment that caters to each individual child’s needs.
At Little Flock, we know the importance of early childhood education. We believe that the preschool years are the most important years to foster a love of learning that prepares each child for elementary school through our balanced program of academic and play based learning. We empower each child through hands on learning experiences, individual seat work, and planned center activities; we are not only providing individualized learning plans for each child but encouraging them to become lifelong learner.
Every morning, each class starts with a Bible lesson, memory verses, and prayer so that we are able to instill in our children Christian morals and values. By using the A Beka curriculum, we provide developmentally appropriate activities that allow each child to be an active learner through hands on learning opportunities and individual seat work. Our goal is to create a learning environment through our curriculum, daily routine and special events that nurtures the whole child; spiritually, emotionally, physically, and academically.
Another part of Little Flock that makes us unique is our partnership with our families. It is important to us that everyone who enters our doors feels at home. Our teachers communicate daily about classroom events and each child’s progress through conferences, emails, newsletters, and a warm welcome every morning. Also by having quartile parent brown bag lunches, invitations to special events, weekend activities, and a variety of volunteer opportunities we hope that every parent feels involved in their child’s schooling.
We would love for you to come and visit our school for a tour of the facility and a glimpse of our preschoolers’ typical day.
